Wireless charging was always slower and getting it faster than copper doesn't seem likely. Wire is not the bottleneck. The biggest limitation is the galvanic cell itself. The faster you charge it, the faster you wear it out. The whole point of wireless is that charging is so convenient it doesn't matter it's relatively slow. Ideally, you'd have both. Fast wired charging when you quickly need some extra juice before going out. And slower, gentler wireless charging that you can use to keep your phone charged throughout the day (but not at 100 %, that's bad for the cell).
I don't think people would mind losing included chargers and headphones if price was dropped accordingly. It would just be a matter of dropping them in your basket if you wanted them. Of course, they count included accessories at cost. Not at retail prices. They can't really give you an appropriate discount. I always felt like the inclusion of crappy accessories is a waste. A convenience, but a waste. But Apple not only didn't lower prices, they increased them.
