My LG G Pro 2 (phablet version of LG G2) from 2014 still works. G series had a nice unique design with the volume buttons & power button at the back, very handy. My G Pro 2 is extremely durable (has survived numerous falls without anything happening to the screen), has a removable 3200 mAH battery, Snapdragon 800, micro-USB to HDMI 1080p video out with audio. I use this antiquated phone now only as a wired media player to store movies on a huge 512 GB SD card and watch them via its SlimPort to HDMI.
Camera is 13 MP with OIS and 4K video (great in 2014!), a huge 5.9 inch 82 mm wide/3.22 inch wide IPS LCD display, IR blaster and two notification LEDs - one on the back in the power button and another on the front. It has Android KitKat with ticker notifications and nicer flat Recent apps view which can show 3 apps at once which I like, unlike the current horrible one in stock Android which shows only 1 full app at a time and other two partially.
But obviously, its processor, camera and OS are too dated, KitKat has no Doze mode so battery comes down rapidly. I moved on to newer Android phones but I miss some of its unique features, which unfortunately have been lost in newer phones - the extremely wide yet pocketable screen (most phones are now 77-78mm wide, not 82mm). None except a handful have removable battery, notification LED is extinct but the AOD is not as customizable in many phones to show only notifications and not other useless fluff that takes down battery. And video out for which I still use LG G Pro 2 is restricted now to the extremely overpriced $1000+ flagships. 👎🏼
