The Xiaomi Redmi 7 is yet to receive Android 10, eight months on from being upgraded to MIUI 11. The device has, in fact, never received an Android OS upgrade, and many handsets are stuck on outdated security patches. The latest update is little more than perfunctory support for the Redmi 7, too.

Worst than no updates: the Redmi 7 had many issues!
Starting by the LCD screen.
Then many components were very weak.

This is why the Redmi 6 continued to be sold for some time, and the Redmi 8 was sold after very few time of the Redmi 7's release.

A bad phone from Xiaomi, and they do not care about the people who bought it.
Mine is serving as an MP3 player.
