Called it! That's why I said notebookcheck should think twice before advertising any of the chinese smartwatches. Test them first and be sure they actually work as advertised!

This is exactly why we shouldn't buy anything Chinese made. While the Chinese have some excellent and trustworthy brands, these bad-actors Chinese OEM turn the entire consumer experience of Chinese goods a total crap shoot.
They just don't comprehend nor care that hurts their own national reputation. Nor does their own gov bother to address this rampant problem, even though the CCP with their absolute control of their economy is in the best position to do so.
The problem a lot of people don't realize is that in china's culture, frauding people isn't considered a bad thing, the opposite, it's considered a good thing. You can brag about frauding others in broad daylight and people will pat you on the back of doing a good job. This is due to china's history of having a large population while limited resources and many warring Providences.
Now I am not saying the chinese as a whole are bad, it's simply the difference in culture. At same time for example, it is considered honorable to pay for everyone else's meal in chinese culture. So it's not all bad.
Their culture is simply different from our western point of view. And while obviously some western culture is spreading in China as well so its not exactly how it used to be, it's still important to understand that in China, you have to be careful. China won't help either because they don't even comprehend it is wrong in the first place.
