I just picked up 2 of these baby's off lease, refurbished and upgraded for $400 Canadian a piece. I scored big time with such a steal of a deal. They were barely used by a local police force and are in immaculate, like new, Excellent condition. One them is my main laptop, the other will by my back up laptop just in case. They were upgraded with 446 GB Intel SSD drives and 32 GB RAM each. I also got 2 brand new Toshiba High Speed Port Replicator III's and 2 brand new AC power adaptors included. Win 11 Pro was installed along with MS Office and Antivirus. These machines are high quality, fast, powerful and built to last. This is as close as you can get to "future proof" a laptop so it won't need upgrades and won't get outdated by newer Windows OS, apps and advancements in computing technology. The only minor "complaint" I have about them which I experience on a daily basis are the smaller arrow keys which I use to scroll down web pages and it also would have been nicer if some of the keyboard keys like delete, @, apostrophe, comma, period and ? were also illuminated on the backlit keyboard. If the above two items were resolved then I would consider the Tecra W50-A to be the perfect laptop machine. Nevertheless, I'm extremely happy with my acquisition and would highly recommend them to others considering them. In my humble opinion Toshiba builds the highest quality, premium, corporate/business grade laptops available that are built to last. A close second would be the Fujitsu Celsius. From my research, tied for 3rd place would be Lenovo Thinkpads and HP Elitebooks. Good luck to everyone with their next laptop purchase.
