Think big! You should have a look at Huawei's latest product if you like big high-end phablets. Besides the new Kirin 960 SoC, you get a dual-camera, modern Android 7.0 with the new EMUI 5.0 as well as a big battery. The highlight is a 5.9-inch IPS display. A good device, no question, but our review shows where it struggles.

Hi I would like to ask if it is Dual SIM Full active like the mate 8...

Thanks

I am not sure, but I think jpg comparison is a little unfair - are all pictures only 12 MP (only from rgb camera) ? As I understand mate 9 can combine two sensors and create sharp 20mp color photos. Am I wrong?

As far as Im aware the current competition is the Xiaomi Mi Mix

A Fantastic review as always, nice and technical unlike most of the others....I have just one suggestion; I would love to see touch latency figures on this and other of your reviews, if you have the gear of course.

Mmm

This smarphone has glonass sat system for navigation... Why the reviewer says it isn't , I don't understand.
Mate 9 is also galileo navigation system, it's one of first!

Hi, I have few questions about its cameras, and I really appreciate any related information.
since it has dual main cameras, can they be controlled independently (via such as camera API v2?)
how's its compatibility with camera API v2 in terms of the functionalities like RAW, manual exposure time control, manual ISO control etc?
if manual exposure is possible, what is the range of the exposure in a single shot (for each camera)?
if RAW is available, what bit depth is that (for each camera)?

Thanks!

Please do a review of the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 when it comes out.

I don't understand why a higher resolution would be a better thing. Unless you prefer lower battery performance. The higher resolution seems be to completely useless for such screen size. I even wonder if 720P resolution wouldn't be enough, most probably wouldn't see the difference.
It seems to be exactly like the megapixel gold rush, more megapixel doesn't equal better picture. For example on my 15" I don't see any use of a better resolution than 1080P, while some prefer to get Quad HD resolution just so they can't even display their windows machine properly anymore, the pro are almost nonexistent while cons aren't lacking.
Anyway I really hate those company who boost numbers like megapixel or screen resolution, which in the end are useless and even detrimental while we consuming end up paying for such stupidity. I hope the mate 10 has a 1080p resolution though they are probably going to follow the "stupid" big number trend.

This smarphone has glonass sat system for navigation. We use this system to publish the location of our www.karelsantralservisii.com site.
