mobility 2600xt 300/700

Hello,

I have a mobility hd 2600xt
4096 3dmark06
But everywere they say it has 700/750 mhz
But with everyprogram i use
(aittool, att, catalyst, 3dmark06, everest, aida, powerstrip)
it sais my gpu has 300kerntakt and 700speichertakt

HOW :-\

Who knows what it is and who can help me to the answer?

the hd 2600xt and 300/700 is kinda slow i think

Or are the drivers not good yet? cuz ati has no drivers i only used (omega, modded desktop, oem)

As you wrote, the HD2600xt should have

Grafikchiptakt             700 MHz

Speichertakt              1400 MHz (effektiv)


In your case I think that Powerplay is just activated.

Or perhaps (I had a comparable case by myself) the BIOS is not really optimated.
You should look for a better or newer BIOS, if powerplay isn't the reason.

Hi,

Now ive dissabled powerplay 7.0 it was always on maximum performance but then i restartet and all games got half the fps as before
so i turned it on again and restarted and yes i got my old fps again so i need powerplay

I think the bios is the case but were can i download a bios were ati didnt even have normal drivers why should they have a bios update
and whats the link to a bios update?

Ok but i measured it with powerstrip also and powerstrip sais it dont looks to the driver software but directly on the hardware.

And powerstrip has 300/700 also while it should be 700/750
And if i game and i minimize the core clock is still the same.

@ the futuremark orb (project search & compare) there r 2 notebooks with the same gpu a mac and a fijitsu siemens.

The fijitsu siemens has the same casing and that one is also 300/700Mhz

Who can help me

And i dont think there is any bios update for a mobility card (correct me if wrong)
