Dead quiet! In 2016, Nvidia introduced an excellent brand-new architecture dubbed Pascal and so far, only high-end Pascal graphics cards were available. Recently, the new architecture has started to trickle down into the low-end range of GPUs. And with the GT 1030, a low-end GPU for those of us on a budget is now finally available.

Please tell me which will perform better in my old Lenovo M82 SFF, the one with active or the one with passive cooling? Thank you

Hello !

Just wanna sya thanks for the review and I have a further request...

Ive ordered this card and will find out about resolution specs by first hand experience, but....

Is it not wierd that I cannot find the resolution specifications ANYWHERE?!

Nvidia doesnt have it, MSI doesnt have it... !   :o :o

Shame on you NVidia and MSI !  It would only take a few minutes to supply this information !

Which is why im asking you, and it is a great tip for future GPU reviews too...

It would be wonderfull to know about what resolutions at certain Refresh rates - Hertz Vertically, the GPUs can utilize!

Specifically since we are all going to get the new 144 Hertz Monitors now...

What resolutions can this GPU utilize at 144 Hertz refresh rate, I wonder?

I will test it myself later, but I dont have a monitor supporting it, so might be unable to see the true specs using this old monitor, only supporting up to 75 Hertz..

I bought myself this one:
msi dot com /Graphics-card/GeForce-GT-1030-2GH-LP-OC/Specification
Which has Display Port instead of DVI, much better setup, esp. for the future.

Kind regards from Denmark!
