I went to my local T-Mobile to check out DC dimming & the phone in person. Unfortunately apparently the carrier version has the OnePlus Laboratory submenu with the DC dimming option removed.

Someone commented on YouTube that he tried it on an unlocked 7 Pro and the feature dropped the brightness severely. So it sounds at this point like it's not a remedy for the eye strain problem, sadly.

Received my OnePlus 7 Pro today. After spending a few hours with the OnePlus I noticed that the wifi speeds, compared to my iPhone XS Max, are substantially slower. The rest of the phone is great but for the price there's no excuse for subpar wifi performance. :( This for me is a dealbreaker - will be returning it.

OnePlus 7 pro has DC Dimming which is supposed to reduce the flickering only at the expense of screen resolution.

Could you redo the screen flickering test with DC Dimming turned on?

Does the oneplus 7 pro speakers have 3 outlets or only 2... Like in the note 10 where the 2nd speaker have 2 outlets like the earpiece and the hole near the sim slot... Im asking bcoz my phone also hav a small hole near the sim tray...
