Der weltweite Absatz von Tablets ist weiter stark rückläufig. Im dritten Quartal 2018 ist das globale Absatz- und Liefervolumen laut den Angaben von IDC um 8,6 Prozent auf 36,4 Millionen Tablet-PCs gesunken. Die Zahl der ausgelieferten Detachables ist mit einem Minus von 13,1 % besonders kräftig eingebrochen.
