Die Notch wird aktuell als notwendiges Übel akzeptiert, die Hersteller arbeiten aber fleißig an der Ablöse dieses aktuellen Designtrends. Schon 2019 könnten manche Hersteller wie Oppo damit beginnen, Löcher in Displays zu bohren, auch Huawei und Samsung gehen offenbar diesen Weg.
