Deutschlands Softwarebranche zahlte 2016 insgesamt 39,4 Milliarden Euro an Löhnen. Das ist eine Steigerung um 12,4 Prozent seit 2014. Damit ist Deutschland bei den EU-Ländern führend. Die Gesamtbruttowertschöpfung der Softwareindustrie betrug rund 160 Milliarden Euro.
