Although it has not made an official announcement, Chinese smartphone giant Huawei looks likely to withdraw from the US market. The company has laid off key staff in the US, signalling the end of its ambitions in the world's largest smartphone market for the time being.

Let's boycott US phones from now on, they all have NSA spying devices integrated inside the phones. It's true, i pulled the source out of my a**, just like Trump did.

this should show that (slight) majority of Americans who elected Trump how smart their choice was...  If they have any intelligence, Trump should not have any chance of being re-elected against anyone...

Maybe the government lobbyist was fired because he did such an awesome job? He lobbied the government so well that they not only got locked out of any federal agency, but government recommended consumers stay away from Huawei too.

I'd hardly call someone who did not achieve anything in line with their title ,,key people".

Maybe he's an ok guy, but if US government decided to shut them off no matter what, he is not needed anyway.

I think it's time China start banning US companies like Cisco in a similar manner.
