Das Absatzvolumen für Personal Computer Devices (PCDs), bestehend aus traditionellen PCs wie Desktops, Notebooks/Laptops, Workstations sowie Tablets (Slates und Detachables) ist 2017 im Vergleich zum Vorjahr um 2,7 Prozent gesunken. Bis 2022 wird sich der PC-Markt weiter konsolidieren.
