The latest VivoBook convertible gets more right than wrong. Though not a huge upgrade over last year's model in terms of features and internal specifications, its chassis is now sleeker and more visually appealing for its sub $800 price range.

Very interesting IMHO - this cheap machine with 8250U and single fan has better CPU performance than any comparable Crapovo for double price!!!

This is an amazing comprehensive review. Very detailed. Great job.
I came across this review as I didn't want to open my new laptop but was looking for answers whether it has upgradable RAM.

So if I have i3 with 4GB RAM - I can easily upgrade it to 8GB right? As I understand RAM sits in aluminum square type casing.

Agree about the review. Very well done.

Yes you can upgrade the RAM there's an empty slot under the aluminum cover. Note that the existing 4GB is soldered on so you can only add one module. I added 8GB to mine for a total of 12 which I think should be enough for my uses.
