All I have to say about this laptop, that it has TERRIBLE WiFi adapter. Huge latency, low speeds when the distance is more than a few meters from router. POS.

One of the worst laptops Dell has ever made! Terrible GPU, Terrible Wifi adapter, when you buy it you are paying the price for the Touchscreen display, the design of it and some other little things related to the design...

I have this laptop for around 6 moths...completely awesome...no wifi problem at all...its slow sometimes but thats okay...but the touchscreen and looks...superb...go for it... :)

I have this laptop about 3 month. I upgraded ram memory to 8 gb, and "trow awey" 500 seagate and put kingston hiper x 120 gb ssd. This laptop works fine, and with ssd upgrade its very fast. The batery life is samething incredible. (about 5-6 h). The only thing i dont like on my dell is display (1366x768p). Whatever setup I choose, display is toooo light, and that inoing me. The ather thing is that, if you font to play same games, like batlefield 3, he will become to hot, and toooo laud. Bild quality shold be batter, it feels to much plastic :)  I recomend this laptop, becouse it wors fine (with ssd much bether), looks nice, have aluminum finish on cover.. .

I've used this laptop for almost a year. The Core i7 is hot like f***, at 71 degrees Celsius under full load, although that's only a 15W Haswell. Even my 65W Sandy Bridge using the stock cooler is even cooler at 69 degrees Celsius, and I've touched nothing inside the case since I built it. Thus, the WiFi is an absolute joke. on my PC, I bought a $8 dollars 4dBi USB WiFi adapter, and an $11 5 dBi one for my laptop, and when I am gaming, calling my brother via Skype, doing homework, the one on the PC still outperforms its opponent. Moreover, a week after I optimized the battery life, I did homework and touched nothing but Word 2010 and the keyboard (not even the mouse), switched to Power Saver mode and it only held for 4 hours. The thing I hate the most is about the slow hard drive, a minute after I started booting up my laptop I can't even start Google Chrome. Service tag is 9QGG602. Brand new, not refurbished, not second hand

I've had this laptop for about 6 months.  I think it's a great value for the money. It runs a little warm, usually around 48-51 C, and I wish the battery were more easily removable/swapped. I also have a 3000 series Dell Inspiron, a year older, and it had an easily removable battery. I like this feature in a laptop, as I can remove the battery while plugged into a power source, and thereby spare the battery from excess heat. I can't comment on people who run it with Windows, as I install Linux on all of my PC's immediately after purchase. Windows might possibly have better power management and thereby preserve battery and reduce heat. Overall, this is a nice mid-range laptop in the $700 range.

worst laptop ever I  have come across, design fault causes hinges to fail soon and then Dell blames it on damage declining warranty, there are 100s of people with exact same issue. Avoid this is not worth it with the service Dell has.

I have this Laptop from past 9 months and the design of the laptop is not for Office Usage.. The Plastic body is very week and also the Screws gets loose resulting in Cracking on the Plastic surface of Laptop..  The design could have be more better and reliable..

Well this is weird....
I have a 2014 dell 15-5547 but it is completely different than all the specs there stated...
My specs are:
Core I7 4700U 2.0 GHz turbo clocked at 2.4 GHz,
AMD R7 M265 with 2gb dedicated ram,
16 GB RAM,
Full HD 1080p beautiful display w/ touchscreen and glossy plastic around it although still aluminium at the back,
A nice AC WiFi adapter which picks up all the 120 MB/s I have on the contract,
1TB SSHD Seagate barracuda.

I too have the same unit. It was a special at the end of the run I think. The I7 and touch screen were the top model and they doubled the memory.

I have this model from about 3 years. The wifi never works fine. It is a totally joke! Just terrible! Everytime I unplug the lan cable I have troubles with connectivity.
The warranty team always say that is everything fine after them tests. At the middle of this I start to use a lenovo without toutchscreen but much more efficient.
