The Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 3 made its international debut at CES 2025 with a starting launch price of $499.99. However, just recently, the company has quietly increased the price of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 gaming tablet. It now starts at $549.99.

I seriously believe that Lenovo has no clue how to sell it's products. Their Android tablets especially. I mean, take the Legion Tab Gen 3; 1st they make the thing without a micro SD slot. But let's say you don't care about that. Cool. 2. When they finally decide to sell one globally, they make it the lesser of the ones they made (12/256 instead of 16/512). And finally, what this article is about. 3. They dare to INCREASE the price of the lesser Legion Tab.

They don't know what they're doing here, and it sucks. The device, despite it's shortcomings, is the best small Android tablet available.

Their pricing is crazy, but everything in the US is more expensive than elsewhere. But, I bought a Legion Y700 16/512 last fall, brand new (2023 version), for $299. It was a bit of a hassle getting it set up, since it's the Chinese Rom, but it works great for what I do. I was going to buy the Global version, but I won't now, at the current price, especially since it's the lower ram & storage. They're just taking advantage of people because it's the only premium 8" available for the US market, AFAIK.
