Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone are under siege from sophisticated hacking tools. Even with Activision updating its Ricochet anti-cheat protection for Season 2, hackers are effortlessly booting players from matches.

They permabanned me 12/23/24, I 'm on PC.  I've been playing since the first COD(2003).  I've never cheated, nothing possibly on my PC to indicate cheats.  Their appeal process is automated so when you enter the queue you're pretty much done.  The ban said I was using unauthorized software and manipulation of game data.  Had to be some kind of false positive but no chance for redemption. The reply to my appeal was since you were the account holder at the time of the infraction your ban will not be overturned.  I don't know if my Acti account was hacked or what but Ricochet is a costly(lost MWIII and BLOPS 6 vault editions because of the permaban) joke with no mitigation on the non-cheater side.  You never speak to a person after the ban.

Well how else will these people feel important? They can't accomplish anything in life try to escape to a videogame and realizez damn they can't achieve anything in that either. So they ask their mom's (yes,even at 35) for 200 bucks and have that sense of accomplishment bought for them. It's okay guys and gals you're important to someone I'm sure. You don't need a ladder board or YouTube to tell you that.

That said let us talk about Activision and now Xbox. They don't give a damn, because these same cheaters still buy skins they let them go long enough to buy crap, then ban them knowing they have 5 computers setup to start over with a new account.

I think Activisions Anti-cheat has done a better job at banning Non-Cheaters literally punishing those who don't cheat. You want that unjustified ban reversed? Well prepare to talk to anything but a human mand get generic not at all helpful replies.

This is the infamous money printing system that Activision has created and Xbox has to get its purchase price back soooo I don't see anything changing any time soon.

I had some issues in the past with someone hacking my game and playing rank play. I had never played rank play as although I'm competitive I just enjoy casual play. I reported it to them and got a response of couldn't find any evidence of a hack. I had someone that I play with watching when my account was logged in and they would notify me and I'd log on and boot them and report that person and also put security measures up , it finally stopped.

Number one this shows what pathetic human beings we are now that people do this for fun or just whatever purpose just to ruin other people's games or to cheat it's sad and it's pathetic.

Really sad times we live in. That being said if they would just make it so console people can turn off the cross play would solve a lot of the cheating problem right there... For us on Xbox and Playstation anyways.
