Microsoft has now released the Intel Lunar Lake refresh of the Surface Pro. Still falling under the Surface Pro 11 and not the Surface Pro 12, the new release brings more powerful processors to the table with optional OLED displays.

Very nice to see the Surf updated with a real CPU (and iGPU). This will sell nicely if they don't go crazy with their pricing (I mean proper prices after a month or two, not these post-launch inflated ones).

Is this silent without fan?

Is the display as semi-matte as the video wants us to believe?

Is the LCD / IPS panel without PWM flickering?

We await independent reviews of the battery life. However, the following pretends to be realistic:

Testing consisted of full battery discharge while accessing eight popular websites over multiple open tabs through the browser. Net prices in USD:

$1500  Core Ultra 5 LCD  16/256 GB
$1800  Core Ultra 7 OLED 16/256 GB
+$100  512 GB (optional alternative colour Black)
+$300  32 GB
+$500  32/512 GB
+$300  1 TB (only Core Ultra 7 OLED)

Of course they will, it's "for business", which means they can and will overcharge.

Peons like us can buy the crapdragon version instead
