Facebook's parent company, Meta, has blocked posts mentioning Linux, citing cybersecurity concerns. Meta confirmed after manual review that Linux is on the list of cybersecurity-related topics, and it will seemingly remain so until further notice.

Thank you for this article. I had enough of this censorship. I have moved already to "Signal" a massively successful open source alternative.

Now I and all my friends will move to the Fediverse group of interconnected platforms that are community supported.

META moderation is entirely automatic and so is the appeals process. It bans people seemingly at random but lets ads slide that advertise counterfeit money, drugs, weapons you name it.

Farcebook fails down to my expectations, yet again.

I have never had a Farcebook account, never will, and malarkey like this is exactly why.

Oh yeah, because Meta are definitely hosting on IIS. 🤣

This is simply absurd. These tech companies weren't satisfied with smartphones, no, they want locked down, walled garden PCs.
