Honor CEO resigns as MagicOS 9.0 Lunar New Year Edition rolls out

Honor has announced that its CEO Zhao Ming (also known as George Zhao) will relinquish that role today (January 17, 2025). The long-serving executive will be replaced by one with a work history that includes roles at former company parent Huawei. Meanwhile, the OEM has announced a special New Year's version of the Android skin for its smartphones in China.
