The first few hours in Black Ops 6 are likely to have been rather frustrating for snipers and quickscopers. This is due to a new mechanic in the latest CoD installment that makes aiming through the scope significantly more difficult - a feature removed from Modern Warfare 3 earlier this year.

So, basically they want aim assist.
IRL, you don't aim perfectly every single time, you have to locate your target.

They want to aim perfect 100% of the time, zero skill, just 2000's noob cannon, and probably have a fire and forget, if it does miss, the next shot will track the target.

I recall that many versions/generations ago there were a LARGE number of COD players that would complain LOUDLY that they simply were UNABLE to play as WELL in OTHER developers games as they did in COD.

Astute press at the time found that COD games had a rather LARGE "CONE" target zone that other developers did not have.

Due to various elements that induce lag & reaction timing for many players the COD games were engineered to be easier to hit 'targets'.

LOL!

Good, they need to keep it. Get out and play objectives and quit hiding. If they want to camp and one shot people from across the map, make it harder for them.

There is no way people are simple enough to argue that it's a "good" thing for the game and double down by saying that the ones playing with snipers deserve it.
The basically don't understand that it hurts quickscoping making it better to go full ADS and/or staying crouched the whole game to hit your shots.

Litterally every single weapon in the game have a riddiculous TTK killing within 3 to 4 bullets. Compared to this insane fast paced game snipers are barely playable and the sway make it worse.

Let's hope they patch this horrendous feature. Currently the LR 7.62 is the only one that is fairly decent.

LOL you are gonna call that "aim assist" buddy you have no idea, this games aim assist for controller players is by far one of the most OP aim assists in COD. Plus, they have catered to that and SMG's hard in this COD with making these maps so close quarters. Its already hard enough to sniper in. Doing so with this sway makes the snipers sit back farther and "camp" which nobody likes..

..U just went against your own logic by saying "god, get out and go play the OBJ".. If they continue this mechanic that wont encourage them to be rushing and playing the OBJ at all.. This game already has superior close quarter combat and no long range in any map. So then do you want them to remove this mechanic and make it for the snipers to somewhat be able to play more close and forward? Or leave the mechanic and make them keep playing in the back and "hiding"

I'm all for being able to snipe but quickscoping should never have been a thing in any CoD and anything that can be done to make it as difficult as possible is a win in my book.

If you're going to snipe or ads you should have to take the time to actually look down the scope and make a legitimate effort to aim.
