The OWC Thunderbolt Pro Dock is a new device designed to provide a high data transfer rate not only when using mass storage devices, but also when connected to networks. Connected devices can be charged at the same time.

I'd happily buy it, or any other Thunderbolt <= 3, with 10G ethernet. Just update the ports to modern ones (more thunderbolt ones, several usb-c, no USB-A!) and microsd slot (who the hell still uses SD or TF cards? I know people in pro image/video editing, but why are all high speed dock solutions catering for those? I just want to pop my 1TB sdcard full of 360 videos and upload them fast to my NAS).

I've been using the Pro Dock as an integral part of my setup for nearly two years, if not longer, and it has been outstanding. I chose it primarily for the 10G network port and its compatibility with CF Express and SD card readers, which fit my workflow perfectly. In an era where wireless is often preferred, I still favor wired connections for their reliability, and this dock delivers exceptionally well. The only drawback is the power brick, which is nearly the same size as the dock itself; if this could have been integrated into the unit, it would have been flawless.
