The first few hours in Black Ops 6 are likely to have been rather frustrating for snipers and quickscopers. This is due to a new mechanic in the latest CoD installment that makes aiming through the scope significantly more difficult - a feature removed from Modern Warfare 3 earlier this year.

So, basically they want aim assist.
IRL, you don't aim perfectly every single time, you have to locate your target.

They want to aim perfect 100% of the time, zero skill, just 2000's noob cannon, and probably have a fire and forget, if it does miss, the next shot will track the target.

I recall that many versions/generations ago there were a LARGE number of COD players that would complain LOUDLY that they simply were UNABLE to play as WELL in OTHER developers games as they did in COD.

Astute press at the time found that COD games had a rather LARGE "CONE" target zone that other developers did not have.

Due to various elements that induce lag & reaction timing for many players the COD games were engineered to be easier to hit 'targets'.

LOL!
