The Intel Arrow Lake CPUs appear to be beastly multi-core chips as an entry in the SiSoftware database for the Core Ultra 7 265K shows a better performance score than the Ryzen 9 9950X. This is an interesting development since the Core Ultra 7 265K lacks hyperthreading.

I don't think anyone is going to spend almost $600 on a processor and motherboard that in 10 months everything will change with NovaLake, it is one of Intel's policies that makes many people not buy Intel.
Quite the opposite with AM5, 7 years of updates without having to change motherboard, ram, etc....
In the forums they are waiting for the release of the AMD ZEN 5 9000x3D that they say has more performance, less temperature, less consumption.
Looking forward to seeing the Review.

I'm not waiting a year for Panther. Building a system next month with 285k. I'll be happy with better efficiency and won't even notice the slight drop in gaming performance. If I'm that desperate to gain a couple extra frames... I'll just OC it a bit on the ASUS Extreme mobo I'm getting.

Huh
