It's crazy just imaging a thinkpad T with soldered RAM. This Is not a business notebook, It also miss a cabled LAN connector (usually customers don't let external's and not properly secured laptop to connet wireless) Also no more SD Reader. A sissy notebook not for professionals

Yes, the Thinkpad series has finally turned into a disgraceful piece of crap, and not a professional business laptop.

A friendly warning for those who plan to buy this model (T14s Gen 4 AMD, type 21F8, 21F9).

When connected to a docking station, the top-left corner of the keyboard reaches very unpleasant temperature of 40°C. I've tested it with two docks from Lenovo (40AF and 40AN) and another brand (i-tec). According to Lenovo's support, this is normal temperature as USB4 controller may reach up to 85°C. The same issue is reported by T14s Gen 3 users.

If you're not going to use USB4, this notebook is worth recommending.

It's not USB4 controller, it's power controller. Eventually port will malfunction, as it's a hardware design fault.
I'd return it.

Do you mean that all T14s Gen 4 AMD have the same issue?
