Apple is gearing to release new devices early next month at its 'Glowtime' event. While the iPhone 16 series is already seemingly nailed on, various sources have now started speculating that not just a new pair of AirPods Pro could be on the horizon, but so could an upgraded iPad mini.

Whatever they release, Im sure it will be the same boring retread we've seen the last several yeara. Same stale design. Same stale OS, middling battery life, prob a new "revolutionary" camera that takes pics like last year's "revolutionary" camera. But hey, more emojis!!!

Apple innovation is dead. They are a profit first company brillantly marketing planned obsolescence at a high price point to FOMO teenage girls, FOMO suburban wine moms, and rabid fanboys. Smh.

Other than the admittedly higher price points just about everyone else is doing the 'slow evolve' and not really offering anything 'new' or 'exciting'.

Granted - it is not ENTIRELY their fault as: phones, tablets, laptops and desktops are ALL MATURE products and without any TRUE INNOVATION they all are just more of the same - over and over.

One thing they all could do is give us LFP batteries - but then again with GLUED IN batteries they WANT you to replace your entire device after the limited # of charge/discharge cycles are depleted. :(

Honestly there is no 'ground breaking new application' or 'use pattern' for ANY of these devices lest we claim that 'AI' is going to save the day and THAT is somehow the 'new must have' feature. LOL!!

Then again, if we read the press - that is what they are doing - adding 'AI' to EVERYTHING in hopes that the sheep will 'upgrade' for it.

*sigh*

Don't think so, the entry-level model is supposed to be uninteresting to make the Air and Pro look far more desirable, and those have just been updated.
