While PlayStation and PC gamers have long been wielding their staff and beating up bosses in monkey style, Xbox gamers are still waiting for the port of Black Myth: Wukong. According to a credible leaker, however, the Xbox version will be delayed indefinitely due to technical problems.

The fact that Wukong is not on the super controlling Uncle Phil's Xbox garbage is a great thing to be honest.

That said, the honeymoon is now over for Game Science and the dev team needs to get back to work ASAP to CORRECT OODLES OF ISSUES across the board from PS5 and especially the mountain of issues on PC!

IMO, Game Science was a bit immature to call out Intel, as a crutch, for many of Wukong issues and it's been confirmed that these issues are happening even on legacy CPUs from both vendors, AMD & Intel!

Game Science has been completely dark about correcting these issues after Wukong was deployed (...and I believe that many of these issues are above Game Science level of skills and Game Science will eventually need to outsource a 3rd-party dev contractor to assist them with these huge issues). That's definitely not a good start and look for Game Science going forward.

"memory leak"

IDK but I'd think that ALL the other versions would/could have the same issue.

Frankly while I don't have an iron in the fire I can imagine studios delaying Xbox releases could only p*** off MS and their dedicated customers.

After MS's studio buying binge how many independents are left?

Back on topic: I'd surely HOPE that they focus their attention to their RELEASED product and squashing the bugs on THOSE vs spending time+resources on Xbox.

However in the scheme of things it goes like this:

- released Play station and PC games have already earned income (bugs don't seem to be slowing the sales any)

- Xbox represents a untapped market for more income while the game is currently 'hot' on the other two platforms.

Guess which priority the 'bean counters' will choose?

:)
