Shotgun-barrel-shaped design?!

Where have we seen that before?

**cough** Huawei p50 Pro released '21 **cough**

Tim Cook really knows how to design/innovate, huh? 😏

Anything to ensure folks would need to buy a new cover instead of re-using an older one - there's no need to change the arrangement of lenses, it doesn't improve anything from a technical standpoint, it's just to say "this is radically different! buy it!".

I would be more interested in hearing what the improvement brought by rearranging lenses is at this point, without any sort of drastically different sensors used in newer smartphones since all we have is marketing folks claiming it's better this way for no other reason than to sell you something.

Internal space considerations? PCB heat management? Something optics-related? Apple rarely moves stuff around for the sake of moving stuff around, it's not Xiaomi. iPhones were in about the same design for several generations.
