After dabbling in budget Android smartphones for years, Infinix is now ready for its leap of faith into the laptop world. Its debut INBook X1 Pro retails for only $700 USD or less and it's already looking like a much stronger contender than initially anticipated.

There is backlit keyboard on Infinix X1 and X1 pro, you just have to press Fn + Spacebar. If you take a closer look, there is a logo on the left side of the Spacebar.

I just bought this laptop and want to use the DCIN port for charging because I want to use the USB C port for display.  Can you please suggest what kind of that DCIN port is? what size? I want to buy a USB C to DC adapter to use with the original UCB C adapter. is that fine? or I have to buy a whole new AC Adapter with that DC pin?
Thanks

I bought an Infinix laptop from Flipkart six months ago because it was cheaper than other official brands, saving me around 3k. After just one month of use, the laptop started having heating problems. In the second month, the touchpad stopped working, and then the sound bar failed. I contacted the service center, only to find out they don't have official centers but rely on third-party support providers.

As an IT engineer, I had 300GB of data on my 500GB SSD laptop. The support provider insisted on formatting the laptop as their first step, which meant I had to back up all my data. This would require purchasing an external hard drive costing around 5k.

I questioned why they needed to format the laptop just to change a hardware part, but they said it was their process. I decided not to use their support because private service centers would repair it without formatting, although it would cost around 4k—still less than buying an external hard drive.

I'm extremely frustrated with this Infinix laptop. I strongly advise against buying Infinix products because you won't get any support if the laptop has issues, and you're almost guaranteed to encounter problems within a month or two. It's a terrible product with awful service.

If I had bought a Dell, Lenovo, or HP laptop, it would have cost at most 3k more, but they offer physical warranty services at your doorstep. I'm urging everyone to save their money and avoid this brand. I've lost 30k and now have to buy a new branded laptop.
