The AMD Ryzen AI 300 series laptops are over the horizon. Over the last few weeks, there have been a couple of leaks pointing to different launch dates. Asus has now confirmed that the launch event for its next-gen AMD laptops has been rescheduled to July 17.

In many forums they say that these new ultrabooks with AMD ZEN 5 are a revolution and a gigantic leap of almost 30% more performance compared to the previous generation AMD ZEN 4 and that in computing is a lot. I miss a tablet like MINISFORUM V3 that can compete against the Surface but with AMD ZEN 5.
Another thing I don't like is that the Zenbook S16 (UM5606) does not have a numeric keyboard, which is ridiculous on an almost 16" screen.
Regarding artificial intelligence, the AMD NPU is much more powerful than the future Intel Lunarlake, it just remains to be seen what performance the Intel iGPU X2 has.
