But to claim that "Tesla runs supercars off the track" is ludicrous! It is only good for drag race, on track it is just a fast car and no match for cheap porsches or the hot audis as evidenced by Nurburgring lap times.
I'm a car fan, I've owned 25+ cars, my friends own various curent gen supercars and exotics. Wanna know how many have ever been to the track ? Just me. With a Miata Mx5 and will probably never go again.
Like it or not, the ONLY comparable and relatable metric is 0-60mph or 0-100km/h since you can do it legally on most roads. You can't hit top speed, you can't corner at 150 legally though.
Not to mention that all you do in that Tesla is tap the pedal and get those numbers. The Lamborghini needs to be in launch mode or it'll be much slower.
Car fans should rejoicing! This is what we ALWAYS dreamed of. Super cheap, super reliable cars that cost less than a Vespa to run, this is it. Yet here we are with some people yelling that EV performance doesn't count because XYZ reason.
Exotic cars are for showing off, maybe 0.05% actually see a track but they're bought for vanity and that's perfectly fine but let's not pretend track numbers matter anywhere but the track
