Tesla and Rivian tied with exceedingly poor results in the J.D. Power Initial Quality Study, with Polestar scoring considerably worse than both. The study blames Tesla's slide in performance on the removal of features. On average, EVs had 86 more problems per 100 units than their ICE and diesel counterparts.
