By using some third-party tools (including but not limited to triggering fake HDR), it is possible to unlock the screen's brightness to higher levels, which makes it much better and with very low risk. But the trade-off is the expected accelerated aging and higher display temperatures.

With these third-party tools, the screen's brightness appears to be unlocked up to 1300nits. This applies to all Macs with XDR displays.
