Microsoft's Visual Studio Code source code editor has been updated to version 1.88, adding new features such as scrolling synchronisation between windows and separate labels for opened editors.

Real, highly qualified developers are very conservative people, because they don't need all this junk, but they need a stable working environment. The new is used only if it is all really extremely beneficial in everyday development processes or the old environment has completely exhausted itself.

LOL OK, buddy.  VS Code is the most popular code editor in the world, primarily because it is the best Python, JS, and TS code editor in the world.  If you're not into any of those languages, then it's not that great.  However, it's also very good as a general editor.  It's basically the emacs of the modern world.

Now, at issue here, the article says that Microsoft provides JetBrains software.  That is so far from the truth, I wonder if this article was just an AI summarization of something.
