In our test, the 11-inch Galaxy Tab A9+ proved to be a fast and far-better-quipped successor to the much-loved Galaxy Tab A8. For a starting price of US$219.99, the tablet offers a 90-Hz display, more storage, optional 5G and for the first time, Samsung DeX. Adding to this is a generous update time period of 4 years. The tablet is set to receive Android 14 in February.

Thanks. Hope this a start for DeX (albeit not full) being expaded to more Samsung devices.

I think the no microSD card expansion should be included in cons since it is the the final critic text.

Yeah I don't know why it says that. The tablet does have microSD support.

Great article. I liked a lot the detailed analysis on battery and consumption performance. However the A9+ does support micro SD

There have been many online complaints that the multi-touch does not work. That pinch to zoom does not work. Whether it's the screen or a software issue, Samsung has remained silent. Can you ask Damsung what's going on??

Review is correct just people don't understand what is said. SD card is supported, but not as expansion of internal memory - only as external memory. It means you can't install apps on SD card, you can only put files like photos, videos etc. So once you fill internal memory, you can't install any more apps no matter how big SD card you put in. SD card does help though as atleast you can keep the photos, videos and other files on SD card so leaving more space in internal memory for the apps.

But.. it DOES have MicroSD card expansion in (up to 1T)

Having a MicroSD expansion is, more or less, becoming pointless anyway..

With the way android works nowadays...
Expandable storage is pretty much be only for media like pictures and music. (since apps can't be written to the SD card directly anymore without workarounds)..

You can buy a flash drive at Walmart that's pretty small(~'.5'x'.25'x'1.5'in), can plug into both USB & C, has 128G of storage for under $20. AND can read much faster(~150MB/s), than most SD cards.

Just format it as exFAT, and youre good to go.

But, this is true for every Android device now....

Except that this tablet doesn't support SD cards, but rather, microSD cards.

I bought the version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage from a Brazilian store that imported it from Iran (the Brazilian version only has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, which I didn't like), and although I paid more than I would have liked, it's not inferior in terms of features to my old Galaxy Tab S5e (which had 4 GB of RAM without RAM Plus, 64 GB of storage in eMMC 5.1, and it was impossible to use DeX Mode, and in the last few weeks, even the day-to-day performance has worsened, making it impossible to use multitasking), in addition to the performance being much better, also worth mentioning the storage in UFS 2.2, and the presence of RAM Plus (basically I only lost wireless DeX, Bixby Vision and official support for Good Lock, but the first two are not missed, and the third one is replaced by Fine Lock; And my OTG adapter worked to use the mouse, which didn't happen on the Tab S5e, which needed a USB hub.).

It's a shame that the book cover keyboard for it (EF-DX211) was released in only a few countries, and is not available in my country. And the price on eBay is expensive.
