A recent clip of a Tesla Model S Plaid has caused a stir among Tesla fans and critics alike. Upon driving through a construction zone, Tesla's Full Self-Driving beta 12 suddenly and unpredictably swerved the EV towards a construction worker.

She does say "wants me to go forward so I am going to have to accelerate" and then she mannually accelerates - you can see her foot on the pedal.  If she had been patient and let FSD it do it's thing, she wouldn't have felt so nervous about it cutting the turn close. It is the increased G force of the turn, as FSD deftly missed the worker, that made her nervous. This is human, not AI, error. Case closed.

lmao

yeah worker seems to be past the front wheel when car started turning. human driver would leave more (much more) space for pedestrian tho. this and her accelerating into turn scared her.
