The Optoma UHZ55 projector is now available via retailers worldwide. The new 4K model has a gaming mode and a laser light source delivering up to 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness. Other features include built-in speakers, access to apps via the Optoma Marketplace and smart home ecosystem compatibility.

This is another marketing scam!

This projector does not support monitor picture quality of 60fps! And not suitable for games!

HDMI 2.0 does NOT support monitor quality in 4:4:4@60fps/30bit color. Only with loss of color details in each pixel in 4:2:0/4:2:2 mode. It's not suitable for gaming or as a surfing screen.

Optoma did not install HDMI 2.1 ports with FRL6 mode! Only 3 x obsolete HDMI 2.0. It only suitable for cinema mode @24-30Hz in 4:2:0 color mode.

And 120Hz is IMPOSSIBLE even in 24-bit color in 4k resolution. Only in fhd mode.

HDR here is also fake - because minimum native contrast to support even minimum True Black HDR 400 namplate (minimum level of support for true HDR10) 800000:1. Even the on/off contrast of this projector is 2 orders of magnitude worse!

What a rip off.  You can get a spectacular Hisense 4K laser projector for 60% of that price!!

lmao

displayhdr certification is only for monitors, you can't compare light emission and light reflection directly
