BYD enters the Model Y market with cheaper Sea Lion SUV as GAC Aion copies the Model X wing doors

Tesla's biggest competitor launched a mid-size urban SUV that mimics the Model Y's dimensions but will be available at a lower price point. The new GAC Aion Hyper HT got some Tesla SUV inspiration, too, in the form of the falcon wing doors on the Model X

You got that right.... I own a polestar and it sat in a repair shop for 4 months waiting for parts after minor bumper damage! I will never buy Chinese again...

While I agree on the parts piece,  the fact is China is doing a better job of delivering on the electric vehicle end.  They are way more innovative and it shows.  The only thing they really need to work on is global footprint. With their current customer base this is not urgent.

They are not at all innovative. These are simply bad copies of all that Tesla has designed and engineered. They are simply riding Tesla's coat tails. They are doing it with less cost because they are spending very little in R&D as opposed to Tesla. Tesla is really BYD's R&D. Really sad.

Made in China(knock offs). Not buying. Plus communism? I mean think of the people you are buying from at the end of the day. Plus it isn't safe to drive. A generic knock off. Have you seen real world comparisons? Complete and utter lag. Anyways just labeling the facts here. There is nothing good that has been made to last from China. Well except the greatwall but that thing started crumbling the second it was built. There's so much more but this is all the time I can spare.
