Lenovos neuester Legion-Laptop sieht schick aus und geht dabei keine Kompromisse in Sachen Gehäusequalität, Anschlussmöglichkeiten oder Display-Optionen ein. Auch die Leistung ist exzellent, manche High-End-Prozessoren stehen aber nicht zur Auswahl.

Schön, dass erneut ein Test auch Ausbalanziert zur GPU sowohl als Geschwindigkeits- als auch als Lärmwert angibt! -8% Geschwindigkeit wären ja mehr als brauchbar, aber dünne Bauweise und unzureichende Kühlung ergeben dann immer noch teuflische 48,9 dB.

Mir hingegen gefallen die Pfeiltasten nicht, weil auch sie etwas kleiner, deutlich enger zusammenstehend, durch steil abfallenden Senkkasten eingefasst und auf einer Taste mit Tastbalken versehen sind.

"Das Display ist merklich heller und draußen deshalb besser abzulesen als beim Omen 16 oder Alienware x16 R1. Tatsächlich ist die Spitzenhelligkeit nur rund 10 Prozent dunkler als beim MacBook Pro 16."

Dennoch zeigen die Fotos im Freien schon bei Bewölkung schwierige Ablesbarkeit der semi-matten Oberfläche.

Schön am GPU-Test ist auch die Auswahl der Vergleichs-GPUs einschließlich einer 4070 Desktop.

Könnten Sie bitte auch ein paar Sätze über die Unterschiede zum Legion Slim 5i mit i7 verlieren? Oder wird es hierzu einen weiteren Test geben? Es wäre interessant zu verstehen welches Gerät preis- leistungstechnisch interessanter sein könnte.

I don't believe that the laptop is capable of only 28dB noise for average load in the maximum performance profile, because. with a 90W+ consumption in its case/weight, this is IMPOSSIBLE, especially with a hot Intel, and not the cold Zen4 Phoenix 7940HS, which produces exactly the same performance at 50W, not 80W. This is an obvious hoax. If there was a 7940HS here, I would believe in the results.

Again, I draw your attention to the fact that the temperature on the top of the case under heavy load is close to 50C, which means that this laptop CANNOT be used with the screen lid closed under such a load - the screen panel with a maximum critical temperature of 50C will simply burn out.

Otherwise, the obvious failure of the series is the lack of RJ45, although there are plenty of places in the back and on the side.

Well, soldered 16GB, do not allow you to install 64GB of operational. Although the weight of the model has become 230g more than the 15.6 of the 2021 model.

This model would be interesting with 7940HS+4050, with RJ45 + 2xUSB40 (integrated in 7940HS). And of course, the presence of 2 memory slots, because. AMD 40 series is the first on x86 to support 128GB memory modules, i.e. 256GB in total, plus there is a neural network unit and an advanced video embed

I have around 55 dB on more demanding Games (performance profile). 30cm away. Pretty loud to be honest. It's the biggest weakness, besindes the cheap touchpad clicking.

Ich hab das Gerät mit dem i7 und einer RTX4060 im Einsatz, da ich es viel für die Fotobearbeitung nutze dafür mit dem Hochauflösenden Panel, Stichwort Farbraumabdeckung. Spielen kann man damit eigentlich nur, wenn man seeeeehr weit weg sitzt oder mit Kopfhörern, denn sonst hört man nur ein kräftiges "schhhhhhhhh" von der Lüftung. Davon abgesehen ist es im Foto-Alltag aber eher ruhig, wenn man beim Export einfach kurz Kaffee holen geht :-).
Für C1 kann man im Akku Betrieb auch auf den ruhigen Modus wechseln, auch da ist noch flüssiges arbeiten möglich. Allerdings hält der Akku aber maximal einen (kurzen) Feierabend durch. Wer hier wirklich mehr Remote arbeiten möchte ist derzeit mit einem iMac halt besser aufgehoben. Leider.
