Qualcomm will debut the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in October. That may still be five months away but more details of the next-gen flagship SoC have now surfaced in the wild, revealing core configuration details and both CPU and GPU performance indicators.

Mr Majestyk

1700/1500 = 13.3%
6600/5200 = 27%

So 20% average (of ST and MT) improvement rather than 25%. ST improvement is mediocre especially given the higher clocks.

88&88

4xA520 @2.5Ghz with LPDDR5x 8533/9600 instead of 32bit common mobile bandwith increasing up to 128bit and is perfect for a mobile battery life, reducing power draw with lower cores but with higher frequency for little efficiency cores with higher memory bd is the best option. (if not could be even a good idea for next raspberry or similar sbc)

mediatek 9300 instead is an exaggeration if the goal is for game smartphones, it's perfect for tablets or ultrabooks using 100% power of the soc otherwise you are just using 60-70% of the power for thermal throttling. the only one can dissipate heat is redmagic with active cooler, if it will be used for it... or using airjet mini for next samsung galaxy s24.

at this point I hope in ARM/Samsung mongoose soc with 6x X4 @3.2Ghz with 4x [email protected] G720MP20 with LPDDR5x 8500 for next tablet S10/AIO M8 monitors and galaxies procducts line
