Casio has launched the G-SQUAD GBD-H2000 smartwatch, now available for pre-order in Europe. It's not a smartwatch, Casio doesn't seem to claim that it is either. Don't know where the author of this article is getting that from.

The designation of smart-watch/phone/TV etc indicates that it is a platform which you can install and run selected apps on.
