Mit webOS Hub hat LG erst vor wenigen Monaten ein Betriebssystem für Smart TVs vorgestellt, das direkt mit Android TV und mit Samsung Tizen konkurriert. Die neueste Version dieses Systems erweitert Fernseher von mehr als 200 Herstellern um Apple AirPlay, HomeKit und um Apps für Apples Streaming-Dienste.
