The 'flying' but expensive Roadster 2 may have been put on the back burner as Tesla is now focused on winning back market share with 'mass electrification' instead. In the face of increased competition, Tesla may be planning to release its cheaper Model 2 first and then move to premium projects like the new Roadster.
