I advise all American buyers to take into account one unfortunate fact - Lenovo (and other manufacturers, of course) specially for such sales produces lots of goods with reduced quality of components by order of large chain retail chains. This is a long proven fact. You will not buy a reference copy for this price, as stated in its specifications. Even the Legion 7, where Lenovo is allegedly more meticulous in its selection and sorting of components, as even the tests on this site (and many other sites that I constantly follow) show, does not meet the specifications for the same typical screen contrast and backlight. Even in the parties going to the sale, Lenovo calmly allows marriage in copies initially, tk. the contrast of the screens does not even reach the 1200:1 declared in the specification. As there is a constant wave of screens with increased illumination, which excludes the use of them in the dark to watch movies and TV shows. This is confirmed not only by customer reviews, but also by the direct opinion of experienced reviewers.
The same will happen with the rest of the components. And in L5Pro, as a younger series, quality control is even worse. It is impossible to make such discounts if there is no serious overpricing initially, due to the deliberate installation of components that are very cheap in class and quality. I hope sane people understand this, and the rest of the crowd just needs to take note - especially naive buyers outside the US who order from newegg and amazon and it will be very expensive for them to return the goods without breaking their wallet. Remember this constantly. Only US residents can afford to buy a product and return it safely within at least 2 weeks without losing money if the quality does not suit them. Residents of other countries simply do not have such a chance.
