Samsung, Apple and Realme emerge relatively unscathed from the "worst" second quarter for the European smartphone market in 2 years

A new Counterpoint Research report indicates that the smartphone market in Europe saw its "worst" second quarter since 2020, with 11% fewer shipments year-on-year (YoY), as well as 13% fewer compared to the preceding quarter, or 1Q2021. Nevertheless, some leading brands actually saw growth, with a particularly impressive +21% jump on the part of Realme in 2Q2022.
