Tesla's new Model 3 Performance version from 2022 managed to not only beat its predecessor in terms of electricity consumption efficiency, but also to top the rankings in the 1000km challenge. It is currently trailing only a PHEV used as a reference and most EVs in the top ranking are now Teslas.

there is obviously some variance in the test because the LR Model 3 which is more efficient and has same battery and charging speed is slightly slower. ioniq 5 and ev6 are very disappointing because they have the quickest charging but are slower sure to their inefficiency. taycan is sueprisingly good for a car that was mocked for it's EPA inefficiency. the non cross Turismo Taycan 4 should do even better

Of course. It's performed in real-world traffic, weather and charger availability and only once. It's certainly not a scientific study. More for kicks.

Perhaps it's the small matter of Lucid not being sold in Norway? In all of Europe, they have just one showroom and even that one opened just a month or two ago. It's hard to do this test when there is not a single dealership in the area.

9h15 mins  Add the at least 90 min more of charging time . He charged 4 times so made 5 puny leap of merely 200km each... and made it a 108km/h  ok number one marketing influencer paid driver...  any good thermic car would have done it at 120+ average speed stopped only one time 5 mins  so would have at all taken like 8h30 and not 11hours...

Retards comparing to ICE - stop for 1h with your engine running inside the garage to think about why you're comparing apples to oranges.

Rest of the world: just wait for the ioniq6, better aero profile, better drivetrain efficiency and faster charging than Tesla... it won't even be a contest.

Stops are included in the overall time. And the relatively low speed is down to the test being performed in Norway and Sweden. Frequent charging allows you to utilize the highest charging rates and save time.
