Fitbit has announced a recall of the Ionic, a smartwatch that it launched over four years ago. Supposedly, the Fitbit Ionic has a habit of going up in flames because of an overheated battery. There have been at least 174 reports of the issue occurring globally, of which 118 caused burn injuries. Fitbit is recalling all units, which amounts to nearly 1.7 million sold between September 2017 and December 2021.

I received a Fitbit luxe in Dec 2021 for Christmas. The battery will not stay charged for more than two days. It has never been overcharged or setting on a charger for long periods of time. What can I do to get this problem solved? I had an old Fitbit previously and it was great.
