Don't be fooled by the fresh 7000 series name as this is very much a 6000 series processor. The Zen 3+ Ryzen 7 7735HS is still powerful especially when it comes to integrated graphics, but it offers essentially nothing over the less expensive Ryzen 7 6800H or older Ryzen 9 6900HS.

Hi, in Beelink store announces that the 7735HS comes with "USB4 40Gbps (Full Functionally)" but 6800H only says "USB4 Type-C".

Could you provide more information about this?

It apparently uses an external USB40 controller and a chip retimer. Only Zen4 Phoenix has two integrated USB40 ports, but they (like Intel) need a retimer chip to combine all data streams into one connector.

I also draw your attention to the fact that AMD lies about the support of DP2.0+ in this chip - in fact, it only supports DP1.4b, because. the maximum mode for DP links is only HBR3. Even Zen4 Phoenix doesn't support full DP2.0+ - maximum mode for DP links is stated in UHBR10(10х4), not 20(20х4)...

Although in the case of video output from the integrated Zen4 Phoenix graphics card, a retimer chip is probably not needed - it is also probably built in. But if you need to bring together USB40 and video data from a discrete video card in a laptop, you still need a retimer chip. But here we must take into account the fact that Intel, despite the presence of TB4 even in the H series of SoCs, they still require a retimer chip in all series, even in obvious cases when video streams come from the built-in video card and it does not seem to be needed. This is a complex part that requires careful study in datasheets, some of which are closed to the public, which does not allow evaluating the exact implementation scheme.

Thanks Nikob for the information.

So in both machines I cant plug anything like eGPU, only display video or transfer files? My wish was use to connect a external video card some day in future.

Why did you decide so if the external USB40 controller is explicitly specified in this device? eGPU will work.
