AMD's Ryzen 7000 series desktop process and EPYC Genoa server chips based on the Zen 4 architecture will support DDR5 from the get-go. Zen 4's DDR5 capabilities are reportedly so good that DDR5 memory overclocking on Ryzen 7000 CPUs will achieve speeds never seen before.
